Japanfest 2010

I have recently switched colleges to one that offers me classes as opposed to the one that I am at now in which I have to beg my art teacher to teach a class.

Commuting about 50 minutes everyday, not sure how that is going to go, but Spring 2010 at Valdosta, here I come.

They offer Japanese classes there, but not during the Spring, but what we did find out is that they have a Study Abroad for 5 weeks in Japan from June to July, so tentative plans are that I will be going over there for four weeks of intensive learning at a beginner level (somewhat of an immersion course if you will) with a host family of my very own, and the fifth week is free travel, during which my sister is hopefully going to fly in and meet me so that we can travel together as opposed to with the group. I have never been away from home this long before so we will see how it goes, but I believe that living with a hose family will make that much easier. I hope that they have mercy on my non-Japanese-speaking-self and put me with a family in which at least one person knows a little bit of English.

A lot of things have changed recently that are really sudden and I am dealing with, I haven't done too much art lately besides what my art professor has given us to do, and I don't really like any of it, so sorry for not updating, but hopefully I will get around to that.

I have felt sick on my stomach lately after I eat, but I don't eat that much.

I have managed to lose 5 pounds and actually keep it off and still eat whatever I want.

Zombieland was amazing.

I recently uncovered an unhealthy obsession for M&Ms, which is not good.

I feel like I need a vacation.

Sorry for the bleh,

Soooooo we are still planning on going in full Trinity Blood suit again, bu also another costume...but we aren't sure what we are going to do yet...

if any of you random dA-dwellers are going to d*con this year, lemmeh know.

There are so many freaking people there it's hard even to meet up with someone that you are -planning- on meeting.

we will actually have some awesome pictures this year to post.

Also college has kept me really busy. I am in a art show that is coming up soon and have been working my butt off on some pieces for it, so I will post those as soon as I get a break

over and out,

So Bronson and I have decided that we are going to do a Steampunk theme for D*con 2009 and we are going to start on it NOW so that we do not have to rush in a month to get everything donw like we did this past d*con.

I am getting the boots for my outfit as a birthday gift, slowly collecting goodwill's entire brass collection for weapons making processes, and waiting on a corset to come in the mail (a total steal at $14.50) and sewing up a gathered skirt. Also waiting on stockings and arm thingies, and I am making my hat for the outfit. I will hopefully be keeping more updated than I have been lately here. I made all A's my first semester of college and hopefully will be able to keep that a trend throughout.

I am not going to post my costume design until all of the pieces are completed and then I will keep updating on the weapon.

Steampunk costume:

Accessories:____50%
..........Belts:_____0%
.........Boots:____50% - (in the mail)
............Hat:____90%

.......Corset:____50% - (in the mail)
.Arm bands:____50% - (in the mail)
..Stockings:____50% - (in the mail)
....Weapon:____10%

Good thing that I have a whole year almost to do all this crap...the reading isn't necessary, it's a personal goal.

Also college is boring.

So how are you guys doing?

Nothing to say.

I have nothing to say about this election.

Hopefully things will change for the better and not for the worse so that a smiting similar to that of Sodoma and Gamora aren't called for.

Bronson's dad is about ready to move to New Zealand. We are ready to go with him. I just want to go somewhere that I don't have to even think about politics. I hate politics. I'm just glad this election is over.

I have a flickr account now if any of you can find me that have one and would like to add, let me know er..something. lol

how is everybody?

I got to draw a michealangelo sketch this week...so i am happy about that...will post later.

This week i have to get ready for an in class essay about the election, so no time for drawing u______u

Okay I'M SORRY.
*never updates*

short/sweet version:

School is pretty much my life right now. There are so many papers to write and presentations to...present.

It sucks now that I have no time at all to draw. But let's give me some inspiration and perhaps even some motivation eh?

If you guys have seen any new jrock pictures lately that are just the shiz and feel like posting them/want me to dedicate them to you then I will pick some of them to draw. I really really am out of practice and need to draw people. I am working on this huge ass commission for a lady that wants a landscape of a national park and it's killing me. The second that I am done with that I am going to jrock it up, so I want to be ready. I will be doing them in pencil but if you prefer black or white then please tell meh. Also I will do -some- digital pictures if that's what you would like...but I really need some pencil practice. And if you want a print of it or something I could probably manage to send you a print of it if that is what you would like. I will take commissions as well, but am not desperate for them. That's up to you guys.

I will have a month off for christmas break before spring semester and hope that I can get out at least 3 or 4 pictures during that time, so please post if you have any picture of your favorite artist that you would like to see drawn! I need some practice guys! I promise I'm not quitting! And as much grief as dA always brings me, I can never find myself to leave dA.

Also, I need some addresses for people that I still haven't sent stuff to so If you are reading this, then TELL ME WHERE YOU LIVES.

Hopefully I can get some pictures on here soon.

I do get on here to see you guys' pictures just about everyday so don't think that I don't look at stuff. I do. I stalk you guys. I am your biggest fan. So keep up the good work, and I will try to produce something soon.

Over and out.
