yeeeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh..........
i don't know why i took so long to finish this one...
but i started it a long time ago.
there was a WIP shot in my scraps....it's still there actually.

i had to do a lot of touch ups on this one when i went back and looked at it.
but i was pretty pleased with this one. it's one of my favorite pictures of hitsugi.

the title was from a writing by Lafcadio Hearn
that's the name of the short story...
and it confused the absolute heck out of me.
but i liked the title.

whole time took....i have no idea.
but if i had to estimate...probably about 6 hours. just because of all of the dots and stuff.
done with prismacolors

the second is after a little bit of editing, and the third is the finished product...
flipping back and forth to see what went on is pretty fun.

i love the eyes, i love the eyes. they say so much.

just the way they stare at you. its so creepy and so beautiful at the same it. it's one of those eye contacts you want to break, but can't.
